The Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice
thereof having been given as prescribed by the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, The Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improve-
ment and has fully considered the same; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement
be made, and the proper City of�cers are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the completion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate
all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.

The Council of the City of St. Pau1 will hold a public hearing in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall and Court House (third floor) at 10:00 A.M. on
May 27, 1980 about the advisability of proceeding with the following
City project:
Improving FIFTH STREET from Forest Street to Earl Street;
FOURTH STREET from Forest Street to Earl Street; and
FREMONT STREET from Forest Street to Earl Stre�t by� regrading,
surfacing, constructing concrete curb and gutter, constructing
ornamental lighting, and reconstructing, where necessary, con-
crete walks and driveways. City projects P-0797 E; V-0681 E.
The total estimated cost of this project is $322,600.00 and will be financed as
follows:

C.D. Year 5 $ 21,000.00
C.D. Year 6 301,600.00
Tota1 $322,600.00
There will be NO ASSESSMENTS on this project.
If you wish detailed information regarding this proposed project, you are invited
to meet with the technical advisors in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
(third floor) at 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. the same day as the hearing, or you may
telephone 298-5311 for street construction information or 292-62_92 for ornamental
lighting information.
�+lhile the City Charter requires that we notify you of this hearing, we want to
help you to learn fully about any improvement that could affect you or your com-
munity. Therefore, I sincerely hoge you can attend this hearing, so that qou can
