Villaume, III Assistant City Attorney DATE: April 29, 1980 RE: Claim against the City of Saint Paul by Marcella Chapman The above claima.nt requests reimbursement for damages and injuries she sustained on October 3, 1978, as a result of a fall on the edge of Davern Street and St. Paul Avenue. Road construction on the south side of the railroad tracks ma.y ha.ve contributed to the debris which allegedly caused the fall. The general contractor and the City each contributed $1,500 to the settlement of this claim. The amount will be charged to the Public Works Department. FEV:paw enc. cc.
