BLUE - MAVOR , Council Resolution Presented By Referred To Committee: Date Out of Committee By Date -2- the City of Saint Paul in the Council Chamber of the Court House in said city at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 1980 to consider the advisability and necessity of ordering the correction or wrecking and removal of said structures and subterranean tanks on the above described property inasmuch as said structures and tanks are reported to constitute a hazard to public health, safety and welfare; WHEREAS, upon the facts presented at the said hearing consisting of photographs, inspection reports and the re oommendation of the Building Departm�nt, it is further determined that the above building and subterranean tanks constitute a hazardous building and tanks within the definition of Minnesota Statutes 463.15 for the following reasons: 1. The building is an old boarded gasoline station; 2. The subject property has. b�een-�oarded up by the owners since January 20, � 1978; - 3. This building is boarded and hazardous; 4. Neighborhood complaints have been lodged against this building; 5. The subterranean tanks have not been removed; 6. The conditions outlined above constitute a public hazard; 7. The continued vacant and boarded up condition contributes a blighting influence on the neighborhood; now, therefore be it, RESOLVED, That in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Section 463.15 through 463.25, and based upon the foregoing findings of the City Council, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does h�reby make the following Order : OR DER 1. The owners of the above described building and subterranean tanks shall make the same safe and not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety and welfare by having the said building razed and the materials therefrom removed and the subterranean tanks removed from the premises within thirty (30) days from the date of the service of this Order; action 2. Unless such corrective/is taken to comply with this Order or an Answer served upon the City of Saint Paul and filed in th� office of the Clerk of the District Court of Ramsey County, Minn�sota within twenty (20) days from the date of the service of this Order, a Motion for Summary Enforcement of this Order to raze 'and remove the said buildings and to remove the subterranean tanks will be made to the Ramsey County District Court; 3.
