BE IT RESOLVED That the Council appxoves a grant application made in the
name of the City of Saint Paul to the Economic Development Administration,
U.S. Department of Commerce, for planning assistance monies for planning
economic development activities; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED That the i�fayor and the proper City officials are hereby
authorized to make such grant application and to execute all necessary
contracts on behalf of the City of Saint Paul with the Economic Development
Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce in the administration of said
grant.

ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval o� attached resolution to authorize grant application to the
Economie Development Administration for 11.302(a) planning assistance -
monies in the amount of $90,000.00.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
Planning Assistance Grant monies are needed by the Economic Development
Division to contfnue itst current level of service to the Mayor and
Administration through the provision of economic development plans �
and information.
