The Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice
thereof having been given as prescribed by the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, The Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improve-
ment and has fully considered the same; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement
be made, and the proper City officers are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the completion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate
all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.

The Council of the City of St. Paul will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers
of the City Aall and Court House (third floor) at 10:00' A.M. on April 15, 1980 �
about the advisability of proceeding with �Board of �Jater Commissioners Resolutioa No.
2965 , approved January 30, 1980 , which proposes to•
install a public water main in WASECA STREET from Sidney Street to
140 feet north of Sidney Street. _
The total estimated cost is $3,700.00 and will be financed as follows:
Property Assessment $ 429.00 �
� Water Utility Aid . 3,271.00
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST �
The praper*_y assessment funding is based on estimated assessment rates per assessable -
fcot as follows:
One and �ao Family and Townhouse $ 7.80 per assessable foot _
Multiple Family, Business, Industry and Special $10.40 per assessable foot �
Those parcels of land with frontage on a temporary water main and not desiring a water
service connection, when the temporary main is replaced, shall be excepted from the
levy of the assessment upon a specific request� of the owner of the land. No �uture �
water connection shall be �ranted the subject parcel of land without the pa;rment of an
a�ount equal to the above indicated assessment rate, as levied at the time that the
perraanent main was installed.
