2 WHEREAS, on August 23, 2000, the Saint Paul City Council held a public hearing
3 regarding Council File No. 00-776, a resolution ratifying assessments for grading and paving
4 alleys as part of the City's 1999 Pascal-7efferson Project; and

6 WHEREAS, several properiy owners were present for the public hearing but, through no
7 fault of their own, were unable to appeaz before the Council; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Council File No. 00-?76 and duly adjourned the
10 Councii session unawaze that these property owners desired to be heazd on the matter of ratifying
ll the said grading and paving assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, desires to
hold a public hearing so that these property owners may be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, hereby
amends Council File No. 00-776 by striking the ratification of the sub}ect assessments therein
with respect to the following properties:
L 274 Brimhall Street (Parcel ID No. 102823220119)
2. 280 Brimhall Street (Parcel ID No. 102823220120)
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, with the consent of the property owners above
specified, the Saint Paul City Council will take testimony from the said property owners
regarding the ratification of assessments for grading and paving alleys as part of the City's 1999
Pascal-Jefferson Project at the City Council session on-�e�ter�er�,'z, 2000.

Two property owners attended a public hearing for an assessment for the construction of the alley adjacent to their
property. Due to confusion they missed the public hearing and the City Council adjourned before the property
', owners identified their desire to testify. This will give the properiy owners a chance to tesrify to the City Council
regarding the alley assessment.
