The Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice
thereof having been given as prescribed by the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, The Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improve-
ment and has fully considered the same; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement
be made, and the proper City officers are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the completion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate
all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.

PROJECT: RECONSTRUCT SIDEWALK West side of GROTTO STREET from Wheelock Parkway to
West Ivy Avenue.
INITIATING ACTION: This order was i�itiated by the Director of Public Works on the basis
of a petition with 6 signers representing 82� of the frontage and inspection of the walk.
EXISTING CONDITIONS: This walk is poured concrete with tree heaves, asphalt patches,
cracked concrete panels, scaled, tipped and settled panels.

frontage and inspection of the walk.
EXISTING CONDITIONS: This walk is poured concrete with high joints , asphalt patches ,
cracked concrete panels and scaled, tipped and settled panels.
PROJECT: RECOIJSTRUCT SIDEWALK East side of MACKUBIN STREET from 150 feet north of
Wheelock Parkway to West Cottage Avenue and West side of MACKUBIN STREET at
1339 Mackubin Street.
INITIATING ACTION: This order was initiated by the Director of Public Works as public
necessity on the basis of 1 complaint and unable to maintain the existing walk.
EXISTING CONDITIONS: This walk is poured concrete with water pockets , asphalt patches ,
distintegrated and scaled panels. We asphalt extensively in 1979 but the asphalt is
breaking away already.
PROJECT: RECONSTRUCT SIDEWALK South side of COLLINS STREET from Desoto Street to East
0 feet.
INITIATING ACTIOtJ: This order was initiated by the Director of Public Works on the basis
of a petition with 1 signer for 6 lots represent.ing 100� of the frontage and inspection
of the walk.
EXISTING CONDITIONS : This walk had old tile which is missing for the most part.
Remarks : All new housing in this area. Adjoins City Traffic Lane Project.

of a petition with 12 signers representing 100� of the frontage and inspection of the walk.
EXISTING CONDITIONS: This walk is poured concrete with tree heaves , tripping hazards ,
water pockets , asphalt patches , disintegrated and cracked concrete panels.

All 18 orde�s have the following recommendation:
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS: Reconstruct sidewalk. On residential walk ,black dirt and seed
will be placed along the new walk.
