RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
upon the representations contained in the Memorandum dated
January 24 , 1980 from Doherty, Rumble & Butler relating thereto,
that the Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the Contract For Sale
Of Land For Private Redevelopment for Parcel G-9 , District 17,
between the Farm Credit Banks of St. Paul, the City, and the
Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul,
Minnesota, dated April 23, 1979 , is hereby approved for execution
by proper City officers.

Supplemental A�reement No. 1 to be executed by the City of
St. Paul, the HRA, the State of Minnesota and the Farm Credit Banks
supplements an Agreement dated April 30, 1979 executed by the same
parties. Both Agreements relate to the Farm Credit Banks' construetion
of their new facility on Parcel. G-�,. Parcel G-9 which the Banks pu.r-
chased from the HRA is adjacent to Parcel G-8 which is owned by the �
State of Minnesota.
Under Supplemental Agreement No. 1:
1. No commitment of funds nor financial responsibility or
liability is imposed upon the City, the HRA or the State.
2. The State permits the Farm Credit Banks to use one of the
existing walls of the State building as support for the Farm Credit
Banks' facility.
3. The City permits certain construction by the Farm Credit
Banks beneath the public walkway between Parcels G-9 and G-8.
4: The HRA and the City permit the Farm Credit Banks to expand
a footing located on Parcel G-9 which was built by the City as support
for a walkway.

5. The Farm Credit Banks agree to indemnify and hold the City,
HRA and State harmless from any dama.ges, claims, etc. arising from the
construction and agree to repair any damage to State or City property.
6. The parties agree to execute and record all easements
necessitated by the Farm Credit Banks' construction after the facility
is complete and an as-built survey is available. �
Plans for the construction covered by Supplemental Agreement
No. 1 were reviewed and approved by Roy Bredahl of the City staff. Jim
Hart reviewed and approved the Agreement.
