WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul did approve, upon the
recommendation of the Mayor and with the advice of the Capital Improvement
Budget Committee, the Community Development Block Grant Year VI Program as part
of the 1980 Saint Paul Capital Improvement Budget; and
WHEREAS, the appropriate public hearings on the Community Development
Block Grant Year VI Program have been held in accordance with the requirements
of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make certain technical changes mandated
by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the heretofore
adopted Community Development Block Grant Year VI Budget; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to add the project: Design of Community Development
Year VII Public Improvements, which was inadvertently omitted from said Community
Development Year VI Budget; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Ma or, the Council of the
City of Saint Paul does hereby approve the addition o� the project: Design of
Community Development "Year VII Public Improvements in �the amou�.t of $75,000 to
the Community Development Block Grant Year VI-Budget; and be i°�
FURTHER RESOLVED, that certain technical changes in the Community Development
Year VI Budget are hereby approved as indicated in the attached Community Development
Year VI budget summary, which budget summary is made a part of this Resolution;
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Mayor George Latimer, as Chief Executive Officer of
the City of Saint Paul , is hereby authorized and directed to submit the Comnunity
Development Block Grant Year VI Application for Federal Assistance to the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development along with the updated Three-Year
