WIiEREA5, Thomas J. Emond and Marilyn S. Emond have notified
the City of Saint Paul that a coupon attached to a bond sold by
the City and described as follows has been lost:
Coupon No. 1, due October 1, 1979, attached to City of
Saint Paul, Minnesota Home Ownership Mortgage Revenue
Bond, 5.95�, dated April l, 1979 due April l, 1987,
Bond No. 608, in the amount of $148. 75;
and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to statute, MSA 475.70, Great American
Insurance Co. , on behalf of Thomas J. Emond and Marilyn S. Emond,
the owners of said obligation, has requested the payment of said
coupon and the City has been furnished a surety bondlindemnifying
the City and its paying agents from any loss in the matter; and
WHEREAS, The Trustee of the City has been put upon notice
by Thomas J. Emond and Marilyn S. Emond to stop payment on the
original coupon as described above; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby authorize the Trustee to provide for payment of said
lost coupon according to the terms of the Indenture of Trust.
