An administrative Resolution amending the Salary
Plan and Rates of Compensation Resolution by
establishing the compensation rate for the class
of Welder Leadworker.
RESOLVED, that the Salary Plan and Rates of Compensation
Resolution be amended in Section II thereof, by inserti.ng immediately
after Subsection R, the following:
"S The compensation for the class of Welder Leadworker in
Section 3. D (Equipment Maintenance, Ungraded) of the
Civil Service Rul�s shall be $10. 2? per hour. Effective
July 1, 1980, the rate shall increase to $10. g0 per hour. "

ACTION REQUESTED
We recommend your approval and submission of this Resolution to the City Council.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
This Resolution establishes the rate of pay for the new title of Welder
Leadworker which is being established in the Equipment Maintenance,
Ungraded, (3.D) Section of the Civil Service Rules.
The hourly wage wi.11 be $10. 27, and effective July 1, 1980, this hourly
wage is i.ncreased to $10. 90.
