RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
1. Thomas Ryan the sum of $45.00 in full settlement of his claim
of damages sustained on or about March 29 , T980 , as more
particularly set out in a communication to the City Council
on May 6, 1980 .
2 . Farmers Insurance Group and Cathy Gorka the sum of $281.32
in full settlement of their claim of damages sustained on
or about February 22 , 1979 , as more particularly set out
in a communication to the City Council on March 8 , 1979 .
3. Darrel McCabe the sum of $600 .00 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about August 22, 1979 , as
more particularly set out in a communication to the City
Council on February 19 , 1980 . .

CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY THOMAS RYAN; FARMERS INSURANCE
GROUP AND CATHY GORKA; and DARREL
MCCABE
Claimant, Thomas Ryan, requests reimbursement for towing and
storage fees incurred when his vehicle was towed by the City of
Saint Paul, Department of Police, on March 29 , 1980 . Mr. Ryan
had his vehicle parked at 333 Irvine with the permission of the
property owner. This office approves the settlement of Mr. Ryan's
claim in the amount of $45 .00 .
Claimants , Farmers Insurance Group and Cathy Gorka, request re-
imbursement for damages to Ms . Gorka's automobile which was in-
volved in an accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department of
Public Works , vehicle driven by James Tobin on February 22 , 1979 ,
near Wilder and Carroll. Expenses are for the repair of the
damaged vehicle. This office approves the settlement of their
claim in the amount of $281 . 32.
Claimant, Darrel McCabe, requests reimbursement for parts of his
vehicle which were taken off the vehicle while it was in the
custody of the Department of Police at the Impound Lot on
August 22, 1979 . This office approves the settlement of
Mr. McCabe's claim in the amount of $600 .00 .
