Villaume, III / Assistant City Attorney -r DATE: June 13, 1980 RE: Wanda Anderson v. City of Saint Paul The plaintiff, Wanda Anderson, was visiting Como Zoo on August 6, 1978, with her husband when she stepped into a grass-filled hole and fell. The hole was approximately two feet square and eight inches deep. She sustained a fracture to her fibula ( a non- weight bearing bone in the leg) from which she has apparently recovered. She incurred medical expenses and lost some time from her employment. The City of Saint Paul has agreed to pay $2,000.00 to the plaintiff and her attorney in settlement of her claim. The condition at Como Park has been repaired. The City Attorney recommends approval of this settlement. FEV:paw enc. cc. Peter Hames ,.,5:,. r_,, .
