RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION FOR A HUD INNOVA-
TIVE GRANT FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION
WHEREAS, the city of Saint Paul is eligible to apply for federal
funding for its neighborhood energy conservation program, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to augment the available funding for Saint
Paul' s neighborhood energy conservation efforts, now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Mayor, and with the
advice of the Capital Improvement Budget Committee, the Council of
the city of Saint Paul does hereby approve the filing of an app-
lication for $500, OOpin federal innovative grant funds for the
neigl�borhood energy conservation program, and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that mayor George Latimer, as Chief Executive
Officer of the city t's hereby authorized and directed to submit
said application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development in such form as prescribed by the regulations of said
department, and, be it,
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the mayor or his designated representative is
further authorized to execute and submit to the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development any assurances, certifications,
additional in�ormation that may be required by said department during
their review of the city' s application for a HUD Innovative Grant.
