PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
This resolution will extend Hospitalization and Medical Insurance Coverage to a physician
working full-time in the title of Clinical Program Manager-Physician in the Special
Fxnployment Group. The Health Division and the physician prefer a clinic rate of pay,
which is advantageous to the city, but want protection from heavy medical expense.
The city will be obligated to make the same contribution to medical insurance that
it makes to employees i.n similar positions.
