1 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ciry of Saint Paul enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Commercial
2 Railway Company and the Commissioner of Transportation for ihe instalfation and maintenance of
3 railroad crossing signals at the intersection of Kasota Avenue (MSAS 157) with the tracks of the
4 M+nnesota Commercial Railway Company in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and appointing the
5 Commissioner of Transportation agent for the City to supervise said project and administer available
6 Federal Funds in accordance with Minnesota Statute, Section 161.36. The City's share of the cost
7 shall be 10 percent of the total signal cost.

9 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper City officiafs are hereby authorized to execute said
10 agreement for and on behalf of the City.

been selected for safery improvements under this pro�am. Federai Funds will pay 90% of the cost and Ciry MSA Funds will fund the
remaining 10%a. The City's shaze is estimated to be $8,98�.10. These funds are available in adopted budget activity C97-2T-741 "Railroad
Crossing Program."
