Resolution limiting the amount of the bonds '
to be issued on behalf of the City of Saint
Paul under the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Single
Family Housing Revenue Bond Issue (Equity
Participation Loan Program) to an amount not
to exceed $75,000,000.
V�iEREAS,

a) The City of Saint Paul (City) by its Resolution -
Council File No. 274883, as amended by Resolution - Council
File No. 275507, authorized the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, (HRA) to enter into a joint
powers agreement with the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in
and for the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota, for the purpose of
implementing a joint single family housing bond program under
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462C (Act) ; and
b) The Act imposes a per capita limitation on the amount of
housing bonds that can be issued by any city; and
c) The City has undertaken or intends to undertake several
other housing programs under the Act which contemplate the issu-
ance of other housing bonds which will count against the City' s
per capita limit; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul, as
follows:
