TOBECK, AND SHIRLEY NOVACZYK Claimant, Kao Yang, was involved in an automobile accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Police, vehicle on July 29 , 1981. The driver of the City vehicle was Sgt. Jerome J. LaValle. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle . This office approves the settlement of Nir. Yang's claim in the amount of $500 .00 . Claimant, Vincent E. Tobeck, requests reimbursement for damages to his sidewalk which occurred on July 7 , 1981. Mr. Tobeck had just replaced the City sidewalk in front of his home at his own expense when a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , lighting crew chipped the sidewalk while putting in new wiring to a street light. Since r2r. Tobeck had replaced the City side- walk at his own expense, and without request by the City, this office approves the settlement of his claim in the amount of $50 .00 . Claimant, Shirley Novaczyk, requests reimbursement for the damages to her clothing which she incurred when she fell on a City side- walk in front of 730 North Holtan Street on May 8 , 1981. There was a four inch rise in the sidewalk which was asphalted on May 19 , 19�1, after Ms . Novaczyk made a complaint to the Department of Public Works . This office approves the settlement of Ms .
