WHF�E2EAS, the City of Saint Paul now provides a comprehensive Health and Welfare
Insurance Pro�ram for its employees and employees of the Independent School District #625, and
WHEREAB, under this pro,ram, the City has a contract with Group Health Pla,n,
Incorporated., to provide Hospital and Medical Surgical coverage, and
WHF�EtEAS, pursuant to the terms of this contract Group Health Plan, Incorporated has
submitted renewal rates for the covera,�e for the year, October l, 1981 to September 30, 1982,
as follows:

2. REGtTLAFt RETIREE:
Retiree Premium (Retiree on Medicare A and B) 2�+.29 City Pay

Family PremiUm (One or More not Eligible for Medicare) 105.88 (City Pay $89.53)
Retiree will pay balance of premiums not paid by City, and
RESOLVID, that the City Council does hereby authorize and direct the proper City
Officials to renew the existing contract between the City of Saint Paul and Group Health Plan,
Incorporated, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVID, that the City and Independent School District �25 shall pay that
portion of the premiums as is agreed upon by the process of collective baxgaining and the
employee shall pay the balanee of �premiums due throu�h payroll ded.uctions, and be it
FURTHII� RESOLVID, that the proper city personnel be directed. to pay these premiums
as they fa.11 due, and be it
FINALLY RESOLVID, that the City Clerk sha11 be instructed to send a copy of this
resolution to Group Health Plan, Incorporated.
