He may be City Hall's most frequent weekend visitor; and, 7 WI�REAS, Joe has demonstrated great skill, patience and diplomacy while representing the City of Saint Paul befare the 8 state legislature, and has been instrumental in securing state aid for various capital projects, mosY notably the Minnesora Wild 9 Arena and Phalen Boulevazd; and, 10 WIIEREAS, Joe has shown himself to be a man of his word, always following through on his commitments and treating 11 everyone he has encountered with respect and dignity; now, 12 THEREFORE, BE IT ItESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council proudly proclaims Joe Reid to be Saint Faul's first, 13 honorary Secretary of the Treasury and goodwill ambassador; and, 14 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Council proclaims Thursday, August 24, 2000 to be farever known as 15 16 in the City of Saint Paul.
