"7. Every temporary or emergency employee shall be paid
on a time-and-one-half basis for time worked on New
Year's Day, MemoriaJ. Day, Independence Day, Labor
Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Chri stmas Day. "

ACTION REQUESTED
We recommend your approval and submission of this Resolution to the City Council.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
This Resoluti.on is for the purpose of providing time-and-one-half pay
for temporary or emergency employees who woirk on ma.jor holidays.
All other City employee s at pre sent receive at least 1a.me-and-one-half
pay for time worked on major holidays.
