S. D.No. 625, and the Minne sota Teamsters Public and Law Enforcement Employees Union, Local No. 320. WHEREAS, the Council, pursuant to provisions of Section 12. 09 of the Saint Paul City Charter and the Public Employees Labor Relations Act of 1971, as amended, recognizes the above-mentioned Union as exclusive representative certified by the Bureau of Mediation Services for the purpose of ineeting and negotiating the terms and conditions of employment for all full-time personnel in the classos of positions as set forth in the Agreements between the City of Saint Paul, I. S.D. # 625, and the above-mentioned Union; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Memorandum of Agreement, cited above, dated as of the effective date of this Resolution, between the City of Saint Paul, I. S. D, No. 625, and the above-mentioned Union, on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby approved, and the authorized administrative officials of the City are hereby authorized and directed to execute �aid Agreement on behalf of the City. In full settlement of 1980 negotiations the parties hereto have agreed as follows: 1. Except as herein modif ied, the Agreements between the parties, entered into June 30, 1980, and December 18, 1979, shall be the basis of the forthcoming labor agreements. 2. Article XX - Wage Schedule - of said Agreements shall be amended by striking out, wherever they appear, the effective da.tes of January 3, 1981 and January 2, 1982 and substituting in lieu thereof the dates of December 27, 1980 and December 26, I981, respectively. It is understood that the above settlement shall be recommended by the City and School Board Negotiators, but is sub3ect to approval by the City and School Board Administrations and adoption by the Civil Service Commission, City Council and the School Board. PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION: This Resolution approves the Agreement between the City, I. S.D. #625 and the Minnesota Teamsters Public and Law Enforcement Employees Union Local #320. This Agreement amends the effective date of the 1981 and 1 g82 wage increase Agreement. The changes in the effective dates are from January 3, 1981 and January 2, 1982 to December 27, 1980 and December 26, 1981 respectively. These new effective dates are the beginning of payroll periods and are the dates which reflect the intentions of the partie s involved at the time of settlement.
