RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be amended in Section 20.D so that the first paragraph of said Section 20.D shall read as follows: "An employee who i s off duty because of illne s s, sickne s s or disability for a period of thirty or more calendar days may be returned to work only if he/she has submitted to the appointing officer a signed certificate from an attending physician attesting to his/her recovery from the illness, sickness or disability; mental and physical ability to resume the performance of the duties of his/her position; and the nature and period of the illnessZ sickness or disability. Such certificates shall be forwarded to the Personnel Office. " .
