RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release i.n full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
1. Dennis Bornes the sum of $295.00 in full settlement o� his
claim of damages sustained on or about July 6, 1980 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
th,e City C1erk 's office on August 12 , 1980 .
2 . Charles G. Rohrbach the sum of $116 .64 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about September 30 , 1980 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on October 10 , 1980 .
3 . Paul Dotty the sum of $72.00 in full settlement of his claim
of damages sustained on or about April 11, 1980 , as more
particularly set out in the Notice of Claa,m filed in the
City Clerk 's office on May 1 , 198Q .
4 . Patsy Ann Dailey the sum of $20 .00 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about September 17 , 1980 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on October 17 , 1980 .
5 . Duane R. Miedtke the sum of $405.29 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about February 5, 1980 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed
in the City Clerk 's office on October 16, 1980 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
DENNIS BORNES, CHARLES G. ROHRBACH,
PAUL DOTTY, PATSY ANN DAILEY, AND
DUANE R. MIEDTKE
Claimant, Dennis Bornes , requests reimbursement for �roperty which
was stolen from security (checkin) area of Highland Pool .on
July 6 , 1980 . The items stolen we $4 cash, a watch, his wallet
containing $25 , his wedding ring, driver's license and fishing
license. This office approves the settlement of Mr. Bornes 's
claim in the amount of $295.00 .
Claimant, Charles G. Rohrbach, was involved in an automobile
accident with a City of Saint Paul , Department of Community
Services , bookmobile on September 30 , 1980 . The bookmobile was
driven by Mary Jo Datko. Expenses are for the repair of the
damaged vehicle. This office approves the settlement of
Mr. Rohrbach 's claim in the amount of $116 .64 .
Claimant, Paul Dotty, requests reimbursement for towing and
storage fees when his vehicle was impounded on April 11, 1980 .
Mr. Dotty had been given a notice by the Housing and Building
Code Division of Community Services that he had until April 29 ,
1980 , to remove his vehicle from its location at 176 Chestnut,
Saint Paul. This office approves the settlement of Mr. Dotty 's
claim in the amount of $72 .00 .
Claimant, Patsy Ann Dailey , requests reimbursement for damages
to two of her rugs when her sewer backed up on September 17 ,
1980 , at 789 Pedersen, Saint Paul. The City of Saint Paul,
Department of Public Works , sewer crews flushed the sewer lines
in the area of 789 Pedersen causing the backup. This office
approves the settlement of Ms . Dailey 's claim in the amount of
$20 .00 .
Claimant, Duane R. Miedtke, was involved in an automobile accident
wa.th a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works, sanding
truck on February 5, 1980 . The City vehicle was driven by
Christopher Roden. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged
vehicle, This office approves the settlement of Mr. Miedtke 's
claim in the amount of $405 . 29 .
