Villaume III� Deputy City Attorney � RE: Claim of St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company At the time of the fire and explosion at the Commodore Hotel on February 15, 1978, the St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company insured the following individuals against various risks of loss, including that of fire and/or explosion: Mrs. Drake Lightner, Isabella H. Capser, Ma.rtha Holman, Mrs . Katherine Shepard, � Josephine Finck, and Yoshi Tani. In addition, the insurance company provided workers ' compensation coverage for employees of St. Paul Academy and Summit School. As a result of the fire and explosion, the above named individuals suffered dama.ge to their personal property and an employee of SPA was injured while in the course and ,scope of her employment and received the benefits of workers ' compensation. The total payment ma.de to its insureds was $12, 887 .60 and the City has been found to be responsible for 10% of that amount or $1, 288.76.
