In the Matter of aperating and a�,intaining the City-awned '�T�+rn Sq�re" public
spaces located within the follawing streets: Cedar Street, Ei�ht Street,
Minnesota Street, and Sizth Street.
The costs for operating and maintaining the Town Square public spaces include:
Cleaning expenses, electrical, HVAC, elevator, plumbing, �ecurity, general
operating expenses, building m�inte�.nce and re�pe.3.r, administrative and
general expenses, energ;y, water treatment, insurance and ]and.scaping.
The costs of operatir� and �a,intaining the "TcsFrn Sq�xe" public spe,ces shall
be assessed for a period from Jul,y l, 1981 to �1ui� 30, 1982, against the
benefited property awners of the downtawn area as designated in the Tc�ra
Square Assessment Policy foxmulated by the City of St. Paul.

The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and
having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof

2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 7th day of �y , at
10:00 o'clock a.m.,in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the
time and place of hearing,the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
