DRIVEWAY IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OP-WAY
WHEREAS, Section 121 of the St. Paul L.egislative Code chazges the Departrnent of Public Works of the City of
St. Paul with the responsibility of regulating construction in the public roadway right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, Secuon 121.03 of [hat legislative code authorizes the D'uector of Public Works to enact reasonable
mles and regulations including paymen[ of permit fees for said construction; and
WHEREAS, the currently authorized fee of $10.00 is significandy less [han that chazged in the metro azea; and
WHEREAS, the currenfly authorized fee of $10.00 dces not fairly compensate Public Works for the service
provided, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, [hat the Council of the City of St. Paul approves the pernut fee schedule herein:
Summarv of Fee Schedule
For cost of $1.00 to $100.00, a fee of $5.00 plus additional fee of $5.00 per $100.00 or portion thereof in cost over
$100.00 up to $500.00, and thereafter $3.00 per $100.00 or portion thereof in cost over $500.00 up ro$2,0OO.OQ
and thereafter $10.00 per $500.00 or portion thereof in cost over $2,000.00 up ro$5,000.00, and thereafter $10.00 per
