to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hexeby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
1. Patr�.c�a Bauer the sum of $36 .00 �.n �u11 settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about Decembex 31, 1980 ,
as more particularly set out �,n the Not�.ce of Claim �iled
in the City Clerk 's office on February 4 , 1981.
2 . David A. Dhaemers the sum of $127.72 a.n fu11 settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about Apri1 22, 1981,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed
in the City Clerk's office on April 27 , 1981.
3. Raymond Martinez the sum of $50 .OQ in �ull settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about April 20 , 1981, as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on April 30 , 1981.

CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY PATRICIA BAUER, DAVID A. DHAEMERS ,
AND RAYMOND MARTINEZ
Claimant, Patricia Bauer, requests reimbursement for towing and
storage charges incurred when her vehicle was towed to the
Department of Police, Impound Lot. Ms . Bauer's son was driving
the vehicle when he had car trouble and left the vehicle parked
until he could get help. A police officer responded to a call
at Abell and Jackson where some youths were vandalizing the
vehicle. The police then towed the car to the Impound Lot until
the owner could be notified. This office approves the settlement
of Ms . Bauer 's claim in the amount of $36 .00 .
Claimant, David A. Dhaemers , was involved in an automobile acci-
dent wi}h a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works ,
vehicle on April 27 , 1981, The driver of the City vehicle was
Jeffry A. Sanchez. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged
vehicle, This office approves the settlement of Mr. Dhaemers '
claim in the amount of $127 ,72.
Claimant, Raymond Martinez , requests reimbursement for the loss
of his shoe. The claimant was arrested and his shoe was found
in the vicinity of the incident. Charges against Mr. Martinez
were dropped and Mr, Martinez was informed he could pick his
shoe up from the Department of Police, Property Room. When
he went to the Police Station he found out that the shoe had
been destroyed so he had to purchase a new pair of shoes . This
office approves the settlement of Mr. Martinez ' claim in the
amount of $50 .00 .
