In addi.tion, for each employee wha selects the HMO�Iinnesota dependent�s coverage, the F�IPLOYER will contribute the cost of such degendent's coverage or $92.03 per nonth, whichever 3s 1ess. 10.8 For each eligible employee covered by this AGREII�IENT who selects the SHARE insurance coverage,. the EMPLOYER agrees to contribute the cost of such coverage or $37.51 per month, whichever is less. In addition, foe each empZoyee who selects the SHARE dependent's coverage, the EMPLOYER will contribute the cost of such dependent's coveraoe or $76.51 per month, whichever is less. . 10.9 The EMPLOYER agrees to contribute the cost for $5,000 of Life Insurance Coverage for each emgloyee who is eligible for such coverage or $1.77 per month, which- ever amount is less. This contribution shall be paid to the EMPL4YER�S Group Health and Welfare Plan. � 10.10 The contributions indicated in 10.4 thru 10.9 sha11 be paid to the II��LOYER'S , Group Health and Welfare Plan. - 16 - - � 2`����9 1980-1981 ME�IORtLNULM OF AGREEMEI�T . This riemorandum of Agreement is by ar.d between the City of Saint Paul and Local Union 1842, District Council 91 of the AFSCME. In fuZ1 settlement of 1980-1981 negotiations the parties hereto have agreed as foZlows: 1. E�ccept as herein modified, the Aoreement between the parties, entered into February 25,. 1980, shall be the basis of the forthcoming Iabor agreement. 2. Article X - Insurance of said Agreement shall be repZaced with Article X - Insurance which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION: This resolution approves 1980-1981 Memorandum of Agreements between the City of St. Paul and AFSCME Local 2508 a.nd AFSCME Local 1842. The Memorandums amend the current contracts with the Clerical bargaining unit and the Technical bargaining unit. This amends the insurance article in each contract. The basic change in the �.rticle is the addition of language referring to the two new options now available for insurance coverage (HMO-Minnesota and SHAR.E).
