RE: Lexington Parkway improvement between Sherburne Avenue and the Burlington
Northern (ArcM) Bridge.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval fdr submission to Council of the attached resolution.
PURPOSE AND RATlONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
Minnesota Department of Transpotation staff have indicated that the proposed
pavement widths for lexington Parkway are too arrow for approval by MnDot staff.
The Department of Public Works feels these widths to be adequate and wishes to pursue
a variance from the Standards, which actions require a Councii Resolution of authorization.
