the City Council did notify by mail the above noted party of int�exest at her last
]alcywn address; and Al Hopkins at his last ]rnc�m address;
Wf�REAS, a public hearing was held by and before the CoLmcil of the City of
Saint Paul, in the Council Chamber of the Court Hou�e in said city at 10:00 a.m.
on Thursday, May 14, 1981 tr� consider the a.dvisability and necessity of ordering
the correction or wrecking and removal of said structure on the above described
property ina.smuch as said structure is reported to constitute a hazard to public
health, safety and welfare;

graphs, i n_�ction reports and the reoomreY�dation of the Building Department, it
is furthex det:exmined that the above structure constitutes a hazardous buildi.ng
within the definition of Minnesota Statutes 463.15 for the follawing reasons:

1. The subject property has been boarded up by the city since March l,
1980;
2. This building has been vacant since January, 1980;
3. The North wall of the building is severely dam�.ged with lath
shawing on the exterior;
4. The conditions outlined abave constitute a public hazard;
5. The own�r has made no attem�t tA satisfactorily repa.ir the damage;
6. TY� oontinu�ed vacant and boarded up condition contributes a blight-
i.ng influence an the neigYiborhood;
naw, therefore, be it,
RESOLUID, That in accordance with Miruzesota Statutes Section 463.15
through 463.25, and ba.sed upon the foregoing findings of the City Council, the
Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby make the following Orc3�er:
ORDER
l. The awner of the above described building shall make the same safe and
not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety and welfare by having the
said bui.lding razed and the materials therefrcan removed from the premi.ses within
thirty (30) days fro�n the date of the service of this Order;
2. Unless such Earrective action is taken to co�ly with this Order or an
Answer served upon the City of Saint Paul and filed. in th� office of the Clerk
of the District Court of Ramsey Co�ty, Minnesota within tzventy (20) days from
the date of the service of this Order, a Nbtion for Sw�enazy Ehforc�ent of this
Orc3�ex to raze and reirove the said building will be made to the Ramsey County
District Court;
3. In the event that the building is to be razed and is to be removed by
the City of Saint Paul pursuant to judc�alt of the District Court, all personal
property or fixtures of any kind which may Lmreasonably interfere with the
razing and rezmval of this building shall be re�ved within ten (10) days fran
the entry of judgmexit; and if not so r�ved, the City of Saint Paul shall re-
nx�ve and dispose of such personal property and fixtures as provided by law;
