gE; Council resolution transferring funds. from the contingency
reserve
ACTION REQUESTEDz
Approval of the attached resolution.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
During the preparation of the 1981 budget, $22 ,064 was
placed in contingent reserve for the Housing Information
Office in 1981. A review of the current expenditure pattern
indicates that this amount will be needed to finance the
operations of this office through the balance of the year.
A similar reserve was not transferred in 1980 . Our ,
analysis indicates that a current need exists for
approximately $8,500 in fundinq that should have been
transferred in 1980 . This need will be reviewed in Auaust
of 1981 and a supplemental appropriation reQuested if .r
savings cannot be implemented in 1981 .
