ESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l. Abel Sadowsky the sum of $450 .00 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about December 8, 1980 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on December 29 , 1980 .
2 . Arthur P. Heumaker dba Arcade Standard the sum of $537 .00
in full settlement of his claim of damages sustained on or
about November 9 , 1980 , as more particularly set out in
the Notice of Claim filed in the City Clerk's office on
March 16 , 1981.

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIh4S AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY ABEL SADOWSKY AND ARTHUR P.
HEUD�AKER dba ARCADE STANDARD
Claimant, Abel Sadowsky, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , sanding
truck on December 8 , 1980 . The driver of the City vehicle was
Richard T. Kill. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged
vehicle. This of_fice approves the settlement of Mr. Sadowsky 's
claim in the amount of $450 .00 .
Claimant, Arthur P. Heumaker dba Arcade Standard requests re-
imbursement for damages to an overhead sign located at Arcade
Standard which was damaged when a City of Saint Paul, Depart-
ment of Public Works , vehicle on November 9 , 1980 . The City
vehicle was being driven by Eugene O. Moe. He was picking up
paper near the station and, in order to avoid blocking traffic,
went into the station lot. While doing this , he hit the over-
head sign. This office approves the settlement of Mr. Heumaker's
claim in the amount of $537 .00 .
