WHEREAS, by Resolution Council File 216348 adopted January 24,
1964, the City of Saint Paul did vacate the easterly 6 feet of
Fisk Street, lying between the South line of Iowa Avenue West
and the North line of Hoyt Avenue West; and
WHEREAS, as compensation for said vacation the petitioners
were required to pay to the City of 5aint Paul the sum of $330.00
together with the costs of the vacation proceeding; and
WHEREAS, the intention of said vacation resolution was to
allow the property vacated to accrue to the abutting landowner; and
WHEREAS, it now appears that the City was the owner of the
underlying land in fee simple; and
WHEREAS, it appears that a quit claim deed from the City to
the owners of Lot 6, Block 13 "Como" lying adjacent to the vacated
portion of Fisk Street, as authorized by Chapter 51.01, subdivision
7 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code through an oversight was
never executed by the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proper officers of
the City of Saint Paul are hereby authorized to execute a quit
claim deed to the current owners of said Lot 6, Richard A. Krengel
and Colleen M. Krengel, husband and wife.
