RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be amended by striki.ng
from 5ection 32 the class specification for the title of Storehouse Helper,
and by substituting in lieu thereof, the attached class specification for
the title of Storehouse Helper.

Duties and responsibilities:
Under supervision, to receive, store, issue and deliver equipment,
supplies and materials; and to perform related work as assigned.
Examples of work performed:
To pick up, receive, unpack, count, inspect, store, issue, and
deliver equipment, supplies, and materials.
. To load and unload trucks with furniture and other equipment to
be moved and delivered.
To assist in delivering storehouse supplies.

To take physical inventories and to maintain stock records.
To report missing, damaged, and worn-out items to supervisors.
To process and repacka.ge equipment, supplies, and materials.
To keep storerooms neat, clean, and orderly.

PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
This resolution will revise the minimum qualifications for the class of
Storehouse Helper to remove the requirement of high school graduation.
This change was approved by the minimum qualifications committee. „
