WHEREAS, Current City procedures provide for parking bans to be
implemented through a Traffic Coordinating Unit (TCU) : and
WHEREAS, Current Department of Transportation procedures require
a Council Resolution approving such parking bans on Municipal
State Aid Roadways
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That parking be banned on both
sides of JOHNSON PARKWAY from Minnehaha Avenue to Prosperity Avenue.

: PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION: ,
Mn/DOT zequirements call for a Council Resolution to initiate parking
bans on MSA routes. This is in addition to the City' s TCU procedure.
The repaving of Johnson Parkway will require semoval of parking in
order to meet MSA roadway width requirements.
(This resolution was processed in January, 1981, with the wrong
roadway limits and is being requested again) .
