RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves and ratifies the attached
Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the Operative Plasterers and Cement
Masons International Association, Local 633 who represent certain employees at the Saint Paul Regional
Water Utility for the purpose of providing a uniform allowance for those employees.

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN
'THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL
AND
THE OPERATIVE PLASTERERS AND CEMENT MASONS INTERNATIONAL
ASSOCIATION, LOCAL 633
This Agreement is entered into by and between the City of Saint Paul (Ciry) and the Operative
Plasterers and Cement Masons International Association, Local 633 (Union) who represents certain
employees at the Saint Paul Regional Water Utiliiy for the purpose ofproviding a uniform allowance
for those employees.
The Ciry and Unions agree that the City will pzovide each full-time employee working at the Water
Utility in the title of Cement Finisher who is required to wear a specified uniform with an annual
uniforxn allowance of $125. Employees must present receipts to the Water Utility to be reimbursed.
Employees will be required to wear the uniform while on duty and will be responsible for the care
and upkeep of their uniforms.

uniforms was added to most of the contracts (at no`� cost to the union), but the Cement Masons contact was missed.
This is a ciean up Memorandum of Understanding that legitimizes existing practice. Any increases to this amount
would have to be negotiated.
