RESOLVED, that upon execution and delivery of a release
in full to the City of Saint Paul, the proper City officers
are hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000 to Applebaum Companies, Inc. d/b/a ,
Ma.rsha.11 Liquors the sum of $3,500.00 in full settlement of its
claim for damages sustained August 26, 1980, to its carpeting
located at 2027 Ma.rsha.11 Avenue as a result of a City crew oiling
the alley behind it and not sanding it.

Liquors
The above claimant requests reimbursement for damage sustained
to its caxpeting at 2027 Marshall Avenue due to the failure
of a City crew not sanding the alley which was oiled behind
said address.
This office approves the settlement of this claim in the amount
of $3,500.
