CHMELOWSKY AND BARBARA J. BRITAIN Claimant, Mildred C. Chmelowsky, was involved in an automobile accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Community, vehicle on December 30 , 1980 . The driver of the City vehicle was Kenneth R. Carel. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle. This office approves the settlement of Ms . Chmelowsky's claim in the amount of $198 .38 . Claimant, Barbara J. Britain, requests reimbursement for damages to her automobile tire which occurred when her tire was punctured by a "curb iron" sticking out from the curb near St. Clair and Pascal on October 20 , 1980 . The Department of Public InTorks was made aware of the situation, a flasher was placed by the depart- ment, and t�e curb iron was cut off on December 9 , 1980 .
