RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be amended in Section
3. D (Equipment Maintenance - Ungraded) by removing the title of Food
Service Equipment Specialist and by placing this title, in proper alpha-
betical order, in Section 3.H (Maintenance Supervisors - Ungraded).

We recommznd your approval and submissios� of this Resolution to the �ity Council.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION
This resolution removes the title of Food Service Equipment Specialist from the Equipment
Maintenance (Non-Supervisory) Group and places it in the Maintenance Supervisory Group.
This is a new title and new position in the Board of Education�s Food Service Division. The
duties and responsibilities include those of supervising the operation ax�d maintenance of
various equipment recently installed in the Board of Educationfs new �entral kitchen
operatiom.
