STOREKEEPER I
Duties and responsibilities:
Under supervision, to be responsible for the receipt, storage, and
issuing of food, books, materials, supplies, tools and equipment
in a storehouse or storehouses of moderate complexity; and to
perform related work as assigned.
Examples of work performed:
To receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment.
To inspect supplies to see that they are in accordance with
specifications and invoices and conduct periodic reinspections
of equipment to determine serviceability.
To submit requests for the ordering of new stock.
To keep inventory records.
At the paving plant, to assist the Plant Foreman in answering calls,
delivering messages, operating the scales, and keeping time
recoxds.
To supervise assistants in the above work.
Minimum qualifications:
� High school graduation and three years' experience as a stores clerk.
