OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA �S 1 1NHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul wishes to honor Charles Schufz including the temporary 2 placement of five foot high, five hundred pound plastic "Snoopy" figures throughout the city but 3 generally not in residential areas, and 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 WHEREAS, These "Snoopy" figures will not be owned by the City, and every effort will be made to place them on private properky, but some of them may be temporarily placed within the Public right-of-way, and WHEREAS, This is a unique program with a public art benefit, and WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Right-of-Way management ordinances establish requirements for placing equipment or facilities in the public right-of-way, and WHEREAS, the current fee structure does not address this situation, WHEREAS, The right-of-way management costs will be minimal for this limited time, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that any permit fees for this be and hereby are waived for the limited three month period.
