Martin has held the positions of Deputy Library Commissioner and Legislative Aide to Councilman Leonard Levine; and WHEREAS, Michael C. Martin will soon become executive director of the Minnesota Cable Communications Association; and WHEREAS, Michael C. Martin has consistently and unselfishly dedicated himself to work on behalf of people from all walks of life and from every area of the city of St. Paul and the metropolitan area; and WHEREAS, Michael C. Martin has been involved in the development of legislative measures that would establish improved living conditions and quality of life for all residents of this area; and WHEREAS, Michael C. Martin has performed his duties with the highest degree of concern, integrity, and professionalism; so, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that this Council , on its own behalf and on behalf of the people of St. Paul , commends Michael C. Martin for his years of dedication, loyalty, and tireless efforts to serve in the best interests of this city; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Council expresses its profound appreciation and gratitude for the outstanding job he has done; and be it FINALLY RESOLVED, that this Council extends to Michael C. Martin, his wife, Kathy, and his family its congratulations and best wishes for continued success in all future endeavors.
