PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION This resolution approves the 1982-1983 Memorandum of Understanding applicable to City Attorneys in confidential andjor supervisory positions. The Memorandum grants the same changes in Health & Welfare and wages as that negotiated with the City Attorneys� Bargaining Unit. FINANCIAL IMPACT No. of employees - 5. ', 1. The salaries applicable to the Attorney titles in confidential and/or ' supervisory positions shall be increased eight and seven-tenths (8.7%) . This provision shall take effect December 26, 1981. 2. The 1983 salaries applicable to the Attorney titles in confidential ' and/or supervisory positions shall be increased seven and one-half � percent (7.5%). This provision shall become effective on Dece�ber 25, I, � 1982. I 3. Employees employed in the Attorney titles in confidential andJor super- I visory positions shall continue to be covered by the vacation schedule shown below. In addition, for each e�nployee who � selects the HMO-Minnesota dependent's coverage, the EhiPLOYER will I contribute the cost of such dependent's coverage or $81.59 per I month, whichever is less. � 4.8 Effective January 1, 1982, for each eligible employee covered by this AGREEMENT who selects the SHARE insurance cover e the II�IPLOYER I _ g � agrees to contribute the cost of such coverage or $42.58 per month, '� whichever is less. In addition, for each employee who selects the I SHARE dependent's coverage, the EMPLOYER will contribute the cost � of such dependent's coverage or $81.59 per month, whichever is Iess. ' 4.9 The City agrees to contribute the cost for $5,000 of Lif e Insurance ' Coverage for each employee who is eligible for such coverage or $2.Q7 � per month, whichever amount is less. Any increase in this Lffe � Insurance premium shall be paid by the employee. �, � 4.10 In addition to the $5,000 Life Insurance Coverage in 4.9, the City i agrees to contribute the cost of additional Life Insurance Coverage i or $ .97 per thousand dollars of coverage per month, whichever amount '� is less. The total amount of Life Insurance Coverage provided under ; this section and Section 4.9 for each employee shall be equal t� the ' employee's annual salary to the nearest full thousand dollars.
