CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY JACQUELYN MIESEN, MARY IRENE
CAPEDER, AND GERALD LOKOWICH
Claimant, Jacquelyn Miesen, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , vehicle on
April 23 , 1981. The City vehicle was being driven by Leo F.
Schreiber. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle.
This office approves the settlement of Ms . Miesen's claim in the
amount of $600 .00 .
Claimant, Mary Irene Capeder, was involved in an automobile acci-
dent with a City of 5aint Paul, Department of Police, vehicle on '
August 2 , 1981 . The driver of the City vehicle was Officer Daniel
Johnson. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle. This
office approves the settlement of Ms . Capeder 's claim in the amount ,
of $603.08.
Claimant, Gerald Lokowich, requests reimbursement for towing and
storage charges which he incurred when his vehicle was towed to
the Saint Paul Department of Police Impound Lot because it was
reported to the police that his vehicle had been involved in a
hit and run accident. After further investigation, it was determined
that Mr. Lokowich 's car was not the one involved in the accident
and was released to him after he paid the towing and storage charges . '
Thi� office approves the settlement of Mr. Lokowich 's claim in the '
amount of $45 .00 .
