RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSAL
FOR A PROGRAM FOR MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS
PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 462C AND
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLICATION OF A NOTICE OF SAID j
HEARING AND AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF THE I
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND MATERIALS IN CONNECTION I
WITH SAID HEARING 'i
WHEREAS, I
(a) Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462C (the "Act") gives cities, or housing and I
redevelopment authorities or port authorities authorized by ordinance to exercise, on I'i
behalf of the city, the powers conferred by the Act, the power to issue revenue bonds 'I
for the purpose of planning, administering, making or purchasing loans to finance one
or more multi-family housing developments within the boundaries of the city; I
(b) The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul , Minnesota �
(the "HRA") has been designated, by ordinance, to exercise, on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul , Minnesota, the powers conferred by Minnesota Statu���,Section 462C.01 to �
462C.08; i
(c) The Department of Planning and Economic Development of the City has proposed
that the City authorize the HRA to undertake a program to finance a multi-family housing
development located in the Lowertown area of the City by the issuance of its revenue
bonds pursuant to the Act; I
(d) Before proceeding with consideration of the proposal it is necessary for the
City to hold a public hearing pursuant to Section 462C.05, Subdivision 5 of the Act; �,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul , I'
Minnesota as follows: I,
1 . A public hearing to consider the proposal will be held at the time and place ��
set forth in the tdotice of hearing hereto attached. '�

2. The general nature of the proposal and the estimate of principal amount of �,

Hearing hereto attached. j
3. The Notice of said public hearing shall be sub�tantially the form contained
in the Notice hereto attached.
4. The Clerk of the City is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Notice �
of Hearing to be given on publication in the official neWS�?aper of the City of Saint '
Paul , Minnesota not less than 10 days prior to the date fixed for said hearing, as '��
