William Donovan Valuation and Assessment Engineer Date: October 30, 1981 Subject: Petition of Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing C�npany for the vacation of all of the alley in Block 2, E. M. Mackubin's Addition. Public Hearing - November 3, 1981 (Revised Report) Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company, owner of all the abutting property, has petitioned the City of St. Paul for vacation of the City's interest in the referenced alley to allow expansion of their existing parking lot. The City currently holds a perpetual easement by Warranty Deed, recorded and filed June 15, 1942. The area to be vacated consists of 4,912 square feet and is zoned I-2 (Industrial). Northern States Power Company has overhead electric facilities in the pro- posed vacation area. They request that their interest be protected until such time as their facilities are removed. There were no other objections or recommendations from any other public or private agencies involved. In view of the foregaing, I recommend that the vacation be approved, subject • to the following terms and conditions: �� �� 1.
