Sharon Bates was a passenger on an MTC bus which collided with �
a cit garba e truck. The garba e truck ran a red li ght and
it was determined that the City was 100% to blame. Sharon Bates
was hospitalized at Mount Sinai Hospital in Minneapolis for
ten days for treatment of neck, back and head injuries, and !
gradually ma.de a complete recovery over the period of approximately i
a year. Her medical expenses were $7,294. Her lost time from ;
work amounted to $4,400. ,
In addition, MTC paid $1,923.30 in medical expense and lost
wages, for which it is entitled to be reimbursed under the ',
Minnesota No Fault Statute.
