WHEREAS, the Counc%1 of the City of S�int Paul did authorize and direct;
the Mayor to submit an application for an Urban DeVe1opment Act�on Grdnt '�,
for the Broadway Square Praject on Ju1y 30, 1981, by Council �'i1e #277214
to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Deve1opmen� fin such form as !
prescribed by the app1icable ru1es and regu1ations; and ,
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Hausing and Urban Development has ,
approved said grant application in the amount of $565,000 as stated in the �.
attached notice of grant award; now, therefore, be it '
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby accept'!
the said grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for,
the Broadway Square Project; and be it i
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to ,
execute such agreements and to provide such assurances as necessary between ',
the City of Saint Pau1 and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developm�nt
for said Urban Development Action Grant; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such agreements as necessary between the City of Saint Paul and
the Participating Parties as defined in the Grant Agreement for the Broadway !
Square Project.
