CLAIM AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY DUANE J. REINHARDT
The street surface in front of the home of Mr. Duane J. Reinhardt,
1716 Wilson Avenue , subsided. The Public Works Department Sewer
Division, concluded that the reason for the subsidence was damaged
private sewer connection belonging to Mr. Reinhardt. He accordingly
retained a sewer contractor to dig up the street, but that con-
tractor found no break in the private sewer line. As a result,
Mr. Reinhardt was required to pay a bill of $650 .00 . The Public
Works Department agrees that eh should be reimbursed, and this
office authorizes settlement in the amount of $650 .00 .
